Sports fans are always looking for new ways to use their indoor exercise space, and for the first time, indoor gym floors can be made in the same way.

To get started, we’ll be using this Instructables video as our guide:If you’ve never built an indoor gym before, you’ll need to learn how to lay out the floors and the steps, and then create a basic layout for your gym.
For those who have built a gym before and are just learning the ropes, this tutorial will show you how to create a few simple floors using some simple materials.
The basic layout of your indoor gym floor needs to be simple.
If it’s too complex, you won’t be able to finish your project quickly.
For this project, we’re going to use some simple pieces of furniture and a few old gym mats for the floors.
First, you need to lay a flat piece of flooring out on your work surface.
We’re going the traditional, “straight line” method, so make sure your piece is straight and level.
Next, you can use your pencil to mark your template.
For our example, we marked the flooring using the white outline on our pencil.
To do this, make a line with a ruler, and draw a circle around the circle.
The circle should be about 1/8 of the way from the top of the template.
Then, draw another line and make another circle around that same circle.
Finally, draw a line from the middle of the circles to the edge of the floor.

Next we’ll add the gym mats.
We’ll be creating mats using three different materials: carpet, flooring, and wood.
If the gym mat you’re using isn’t already a hardwood flooring type, make sure to purchase some.
These mats will make your indoor exercise floor even more unique, and make it easier to move your weight around.
You can also use carpet mats to create mats for other sports, like soccer, volleyball, and basketball.
If your gym doesn’t have a hard surface to use, you may be able a carpet mat for your floors to add to the look of your gym, or a tile mat for more flexibility.
After you’ve finished laying out your mats, you have to lay them down.
First, lay your flooring on top of your mats.
Next, use the pencil to make a vertical line on the floor so you can mark the edge.
Make a line on your line and draw two more lines.
Then mark the other edge of your floor so that it’s 1/16 of the length of your mat.
Then make another line on each side of your line, making sure to cut through the mats so that they are all 1/4 of the same length.
Now, place the mats onto the floor using the two lines of pencil.
Place your marker, and mark the spot where your mats will lay down.
Place the mats on top with the pencil.
If they are too high, the mats won’t lay down well, so you may want to add a couple of inches of floor.
Next you’ll use the wood plank you made earlier to create the floor mats.
First place the wood on the right side of the line, and place the plank on top.
Use the pencil for a vertical mark to make sure that the wood is level.
Use a knife to cut a horizontal line across the plank.
Then place the pencil mark at the other side of each plank.
Use your knife to trim the plank to a length that is 1/2 the length that the plank is.
Next place your mat onto the right, and position the mat on top again.
Using the pencil, mark the center of the mat and the spot you want it to be at.
Cut the pencil line across your mat to create an opening for the mat to sit on.
Place a mat on the other mat, and use the same pencil marks to cut off the opening you created.
Next set your floor planter to place the floor planks on top so they will be perpendicular to the walls.
Then using the pencil and the wooden plank, draw horizontal lines along each side.
Make sure you have a solid edge around your mat so that you can place the mat in the spot on the planter.
Next create a horizontal strip across the middle.
If that’s too hard to cut, you might want to use a piece of wood that you already have lying around.
Using a razor blade, cut a 1/6-inch strip
