NFL players will be paid by the season, not the year, according to a report

A lot of NFL players are being paid in real-time and not in monthly increments, according the report.

The report says that players have been able to take advantage of this by scheduling their own off-season work and staying home more often.

The NFL Players Association (NFLPA) has been lobbying for a new system of “pay per play” for the past two years, but this report from the Washington Post says that this is finally happening.

“Players who earn their living as athletes are able to maximize their pay and receive their full compensation,” NFLPA President Troy Vincent said in a statement.

“It’s time for NFL players to earn their fair share of their league’s revenue.”

The report also says that teams will be able to “earn” the same amount of money regardless of how many games they play.
