(AP) — The Jacksonville Jaguars announced Monday the opening of a new outdoor sports bar inside their stadium that has been vacant for about a year.
The Jacksonville Sports Bar will open in June 2019 in a new space next to the Jacksonville Arena, the team said in a news release.
It will serve food, entertainment and entertainment-related events.
The Jacksonville Sports Book will have a new location in a different building next door.
The new space will feature seating for 50,000 fans and will feature an indoor practice field.
The Jaguars will sell tickets for the outdoor games as part of the Jacksonville Dome Experience, the organization said.
Jaguars owner Shad Khan has been trying to open the indoor facility in a downtown location for about two years.
The Jaguars have not yet said when it will open.
